NEW HOME (2012) was a social performance, where Borealis invited guests to clean a dust-encrusted sewing machine with cloth, q-tips, and fine brushes. Lemon-pine cleaners hung in the air, dust suspended, too, while Borealis told stories about their grandmother and generational trauma. For some time after the close of the performance, the guests worked in silence alongside Borealis to get the table entirely clean.
